Day 34: Laundry Day, Haircut, & Poolside Workout
Share
Sunday, September 29th
Right as we awoke, we decided we wanted to move our flight up. Despite our current lovely hotel, we are just ready to leave & get back to eating normal. We had a slow start morning and relaxed.
We went on a morning walk to Baked. for coffee & breakfast. I couldn’t drink mine, & we both just picked at our food.
We walked to do a little more shopping. I found a super cute outfit on clearance rack. Finally, I hit the jackpot with some new clothes! I lost one pair of my workout shorts (they fell out of my backpack on the plane), so I was down to only 1 pair of workout shorts and 1 pair of jeans shorts.
We went to the store to pick up more food. We got more digestive biscuits, granola bars, and I got some organic baby food puffs. Really upgrading with my variety ;)
We headed back home. We spent a solid hour and a half doing laundry. It was hilarious. Christopher was in the shower doing a pre-soak, I was washing the clothes in the sink (using little laundry pods we bought back in New Zealand) then I would pass them back to Christopher to ring out and hang. It was a good system, and we got everything washed!
If you have kept up with us for awhile, you’ll know I cut Christopher’s hair. We stopped by a little pharmacy and got a cheap little pair of scissors so I could cut his hair, and even with these cheap little scissors, it turned out amazing, & he was super happy.
We headed down to the pool. We had the entire place to ourselves. Christopher got to fly his drone & get some amazing content.
We ate dinner ate nüde. This was my first “real” meal. Christopher got another burger, and I got seafood pasta with shrimp, barramundi fish, & tuna. It was actually very delicious. I ate all the seafood and felt fine afterwards.
We laid in bed creating content and laughing at all of the monkey videos. Christopher put together one of his best videos yet. His talents behind any type of lens, along with his editing skills, never cease to amaze me.
My highlight was doing laundry, because we always make such a great team at anything and everything we do. Life’s smallest moments, once again, are always the best.
Christopher’s highlight was getting a burger & just hanging out. It was nice to be out and all “dressed up” in my new little clearance outfit for the first time in a while. Christopher kept telling me over and over how cute I looked, and all women can probably agree that having your man hype you up & tell you your beautiful never gets old. <3
