Day 63: Limassol, Cyprus

Monday, October 28th
We awake early after a good nights rest. We started our day at the gym. We did some cardio and got a little pump in, since we were planning to come back later.
After breakfast we decided to do a short walk off the ship, but came back shortly after because there wasn’t good walkability, and we were excited to enjoy the ship with not as many people on board. We had lunch at the Mexican place. I made a giant “taco” chicken salad, and Christopher got his regular chicken quesadillas.
We hung around the ship all day, journaling and getting work done.
Tonight was 80s night. We were all excited to get dressed up again. Christopher had a colorful shirt with flowers all over it & I wore a bright orange dress. Not as many people dressed up for this one, but we owned it. ;)
At dinner, they sang happy anniversary to the couple next to us. I took the husbands phone & got the cutest video for him & his wife as they sang. They’ve been together 42 years! It’s always so nice to be seated next to the same people every night at dinner. Everyone is so friendly, and we always feel so at home. We also had a wonderful server and his assistant was great as well. He was younger and thought Christopher was the man. It was adorable.
We watched Arrival before bed. We had both seen it before, but forgot majority of it, and we both agreed it was better than we remembered. Honestly, I think everything is always better than we remember, simply because everything is better together. ~Cue Jack Johnson~ ;)
Both of our highlights today were when they sang happy anniversary to the couple next to us at dinner. I love seeing beautiful marriages survive and thrive for so many years.
